Upgrade to delux version, steam

Hello,

I got by gift the normall version, what i really want is an upgrade option in steam to the deluxe version.

Because if i want the delux version, i need to buy the hole game, but i allready got by pressent, the normall version.
I quess im not the only one with thise thing. I dont mind to pay some extra but a least give us the option for the animals ^^

They might end up packaging up the extra animals as DLC like they did with JWE but as far as I know there's no way to upgrade the game. Would be a nice option though

Would be nice to put deluxe versions on a steam wish list instead of the normal version.

Ah well if they get it in form of dlc im happy 2, at least give me the option to buy them

I've had the same problem. The solution is relatively simple. You can return the game via Steam Support, then you can choose whether you want to transfer the balance to your account.
Don't worry you don't have to call them, you just write them a form that you want to return the game. Usually they answer within 24 hours. After you have done that, you can top up your account with the missing amount and buy the new game.

Thanks for your reply!, Unfortunaty i need to give steam the permission to give a refund option to the person who have gifted me the game.
I won the game in an contest so i dont know the person in a normall way. So if i do that, i dont know if i get anything back at all haha.

I just hope they add the animals as dlc or an upgrade option after launch. ^^

I think they will go with the JWE approach.. They released the 'deluxe' dinos on the same day
Even if you have to wait some days/time, that shouldn't be a big problem.

Edit: On the steam page Planet Zoo: Deluxe Upgrade Pack (currently n/a)
