Upgraded modules resale?

Seems a bit unfair considering the amount of faffing involved with its modification, I'd have thought it would put a considerable mark up on its value.
Thanks for answering my question BTW.

No worries. I would certainly take a credit bump for the effort put into a modded module.

You're lucky they give you anything with all the unauthorised, non-factory modifications you have bunged on it.:D

Trotters Independent Upgrades :D

Seriously, I was under the impression that the rebuy cost more with engineered modules. I could well be wrong though.

That sounds like a believable in-game explanation. It is interesting that you can remove modifications very easy, without the need to buy half a new module. And since the big engineer patch, it is not like the upgrades are that unique anymore.

Certainly if they wanted to add player-driven economy then making 'module upgrader' a career path by allowing better resale value for engineered items would be a start - and then let people buy those pre-engineered items (which should now be fine as and fully engineered module == any other). Would also cut the whining from the grinders as they could concentrate on their A->B mashing rather than engineering.

Could well be one of the things FDev have in mind for the future, though there is a lot more higher on most people's lists ;)
