It was a hotfix to 1.1, in the patch notes subforum

Yep - patch a day helps a player work rest and play - usually drops off after the first few days.

Hey guys, pretty new here but i managed to download the game yesterday after alot of screwing around, finally found a data file that works apparently, But after yesterday i log in to the same thing as OP, i have to upgrade again. But now im getting the same error where its having issues updating the .data file anybody able to help me out. i was just past half way done with my training now i cant play

any help greatly appreciated

Have you tried restarting the computer in between your 1 atempt to upgrade/download and the 2,3,4... ?

yeah , ive tried turning my pc off and on again. No luck it seems still getting the same error

It's an issue with too many games and software in general, and has got-worse since the Internet became popular: too many developers release some pretty flawed product and then multi-patch afterwards.

It's the price we pay for complex software, I guess; at least they do fix things! (mostly).

Love ED ,(especially now I've credits in the bank ). love the attention to detail , the upgrades and patches mean its a game for the future ..... I just dread pushing the upgrade button , I know its going to take hours , is it going to crash ? Will it install properly , will I get error messages? Will it like my system ? Very relieved when its done..... Hey ho
