I was gifted a ssd and new hard drive for Christmas very much need parts the install went well. I also did a fresh install of windows 10 and got all my accounts Frontier, steam, origin ect installed all my games everything seems fine except when launching Elite Dangerous from the launcher after steam updates itself, steam puts a banner up saying the game may need a code to play proper but as far as I can tell the game is working fine only had to reinstall my bindings. So my question is do any of you commanders know what steam is trying to tell me? o7 and thank you in advance of any info fly safe.

Just hit Shift+F1 to open the Steam in-game overlay, close the dialog box. You'll never get the warning again.
