Upgrading second ship.

So here I am, with my nice shiney cobra + upgrades, and my nice shiney eagle.

Now say i'm hopping around in the cob doing a bit of tradin', killin' an sploring, and I pull together enough cr to buy a type 6.

Can I buy that type 6 and trade in the eagle wherever I am? or do I need to be in my eagle hanger to sell it? after all I don't want to have to fly 200ly ish back to sell it.

You need to be where it's located.

I may be wrong here. But if I recall, you only have the option to sell what you are currently in.

Just sold my Freagle on a trip back to my spawning ground.... You can sell it as long as you are at the station it is stored in.

You have to be at the same location as your ship, and to sell it you have to be in it which is not too difficult.

im not aware of any thing stopping you having as many ships. In a single station or multiple stations as you like though

You have to be physically in the location your ship is stored to sell it. You don't think you can sell the ship you're in. Should have sold the eagle before you went wandering off

It would be nice if you could pay a X credits to commission to have your ship brought to a given system... would cost some credits and a time delay before it appeared there. I would like to be able to store all my ships in a region of my choosing.

So there's no way to get all your ships in 1 place?

I'll be wanting to take the pirate route and be based in an an anarchy system, I'd like all my ships there.

Fly your first ship to the desired location, store it, and buy a sidewinder. Fly said sidewinder to the location of your other ship, sell the sidewinder, and get in your other ship.

sod that, I sold freagle before, just didn't know whether i could sell remotely.. not byeing a sidey.... it's slower than my cob.
