urgent advice needed

Hi CMDRs,

I recently finished some nice upgrades on some modules - some multicannons, some SBs, some HRPs, and currently I'm testing some different ships with them at a station close to a RES/warzones.
I finished 1 run, went back to base to reload and swap the equipment to another ship.
After selling all modules, i was swapping to my other test ship, but now Im stuck at the "stand by" phase, my other ship will not load. I cannot do anything, if I hit ESC i get the menu to relog, but AFAIK if i relog my sold modules will be lost.
What should I do? Should I relog, can I get my modules back that way?

Don't relog you will loose your session and modules.

I say wait, CTRL ALT and contact FD support and keep ED online.

I cannot think of anything else sorry, people say you only have 10 min to rebuy so you could be screwed.

Ok, I had no other option but to log off with "save and enter to main menu", and then when i logged back, my modules were lost.
Yaaay!
Just as an info for other commanders, if you try to swap your precious equipment, you stand a chance to lose them all due a to a random freeze.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately I already did log off and typed my sad sad message when you wrote - anyways, I could not stay logged on for all night and wait for support to answer, so I guess i will have to swallow this bitter pill :/
Too bad that I worked for the stupid mods for days, and when i want to try them out, gods forbid with different ships then you are prone to lose it all.
And guess what, how i will replace the two enforcer cannons lost in this glorious process? I will have to swap them from a different ship - another great chance to lose some equipment!

Swap equipment one piece at a time to minimise the loss if the game freezes or crashes. Takes much longer, but is safer.
Avoid swapping modules on a weekend, the game is much flakier then.
