Urgh... I hate complaining :(

Really bums me out... But here it is...

In the previous Alpha & early beta versions there was a sound of thunder during Supercruise - a very 'natural to earth' sounds and not really space related...

Eventually FD removed it (I hope I'm not the only one who noticed!!!) and Supercruise was ok...

Now in 1.3 it's back in and I've tried not hearing the 'Thunder'... but it's still there and only partially processed/disguised...

Can we have a way of muting it or at least make something artificial/space like and not something ripped from 'Sounds of Nature Vol. 14' or whatever meditation cd you nicked from Brabens desk? :p
 
I actually missed the thunder sound in SuperCruise.

That said, less would be more - meaning: IMHO it should be occasional, not constant.
 
...Ever since Pre-Release Beta, the only thing I never liked about SuperCruise SFX was the constant, looping acceleration and deceleration which they finally removed. Was literally killing me during very long Ls trips ;)

This drove me crazy as well.

I quite enjoy the "thundering". Adds a sense of danger and foreboding for me. :)
 
I've never liked the jump sequence graphics. What should be a simulation of a technological marvel and a chance for some full on gpu fun (see the 2001 stargate) instead is dreary grey clouds and stuttering lines. We get enough dreary grey clouds where I live without making more of them ...

Yep... like maybe on entry and exit... but the looping and poor processing sorta is getting on my lol... Guess I'll have to smack the faders down when it happens and send FD a better set of loops to use ;)
