USB Keyboard on PS4

Hey everyone!
First off, l'm really liking the game and the steep learning experience it seems to be offering. I spent more time configurating and figuring things out and strangely enough l enjoyed every second of it.

But after a while l got very frustrated with the key bindings on my PS4 Cobtroller, so l bought a USB keyboard in hopes to have more space to bind all the different commands, only to find out that the game doesnt support keyboards on PS4 :/

Is there any chance you guys could implement this feature? I think having a keyboard would greatly enhance the experience.

Cheers and thanks for bringing such a fantastic space simulator to PS4. We really needed it! :)

You can use a bluetooth keyboard though. I bought one very cheap from Amazon - a tiny thing, no bigger than my phone really - and it works fine. Due to its size it isn't the easiest thing in the world to type on, but it's still a damn sight better than using the on-screen keyboard with a dual shock!

So far it just supports typing text messages etc. with keyboards (so basically everywhere, where such a keyboard box menu pops up). I doubt that they will implement keybindings to the keyboard - that would split the playerbase and players using the kb would have quite a big advantage.

I cant see the issue personally. Not everyone will have a Hotas which has more buttons then a Controller.

People have a better Hotas then me, does that mean they have a better advantage. Maybe, but I don't begrudge that. Maybe we should all play the game on the keyboard or controller.

As the game isn't a predominantly PvP game, someone having a minor advantage over someone else isn't a major issue. Also, getting a keyboard doesn't cost much either.

I meant for keybinding though.
I can type with the usb keyboard l bought, but l wanted to use it for putting commands on it.
Really hope this will be a thing.

You are SOL (Shi* outta luck), maybe in the future if the world doesn't end first. There's a famous quote by Dr. McCoy previously from the USS Enteprise. Although I forget the exact wording he used, it goes something like this. "Damit Jim, I'm a console not a pc."

No, you got it right... it was in episode 14. Whom Gods Destroy. Sadly, it was cut out for more greenskin womens.
