Thank you! Will try next timeOf course you can.
I suggest not landing on the pad, though. Land a bit outside, say 400-500m, then walk in. You can always run back to your ship to resupply, or get away. It won't usually get fired upon that far out, but be careful anyway.
If you set off the alarms at an active base, and it has turrets, they will try to shoot you down, so be aware of that as well.
Maybe you could take another player along in the second seat of the Scorpion to make them keep their distance.I do all my on-foot missions in my ship. As has been said, I'll land 4-500m away to prevent ship destruction but I'll often drive in using a scorpion SRV. This has the advantage of vehicle weaponry (underpewered IMHO) and the fact you can offload goods/assets/data and swap loadouts quite quickly if required.
Do keep one eye peeled on scav watch though. I've had a fair few SRVs boiled up when doing stuff in buildings.
It's kind of cheesy but you really don't need to be on foot for any missions unless you need to get something.Don´t know if it has already been asked but can we use our own ship instead of a shuttle to go to a ground mission location?
