User Skins and Decals

With the re-launch of the Store, I was rather disappointed to see that virtually nothing new has been added to actually buy from it. Would it not be possible to allow users to create skins, upload them and buy them from the store? No offence, but I'm sure the community could produce paintjobs and decals to a far higher quality than anything currently available as well as increasing the choice and variety on offer.

I wouldn't say they added virtually nothing, they added quite a few new things. Race paintjobs for the Courier and Mamba, polarity paintjobs for the DBX and T7, the Clipper ship kit (which has since been removed, but will presumably return someday), the two Dolphin taxi paint jobs, the Messenger paintjobs for the Clipper, and the dashboard succulents. They will continue to add new things every Friday just as before, I assume (although they missed this last Friday, probably because they're just having an immense amount of trouble doing anything correctly lately).

Well thats annoying, I bought Arx for the clipped ship kit and now I cant even get it because of game bugs.

The issue that was making it unusable has apparently been fixed, they just haven't put it back into the store yet. Why? Anybody's guess is as good as mine. Like I said, Frontier just seem to be having a real rough go of it lately. Hopefully that new release engineer position is filled soon.

No, the issue I was having was I bought Arx and I didnt get it in game until days later, by then I was on vacation and didnt have access to my PS4.

Such is life I guess.... I think Ill continue my break from the game until if comes back around.

I think store should remain store, Frontiers will continue to fill it regularly. But i really would like to see user artworks in game as ads or GalNet news pictures and even audio (I'm listening to Lave Radio "Escape Velocity" radioshow now) Counting the enormous scales of the game world, new content will be never too much there. Some fan arts are really nice:
