Newcomer / Intro Using ClipBoard paste to copy System names into Ship Navigation?

I have come across several websites that have list of Systems useful for mining or exploration...They include a "ClipBoard" Icon next to each system with the intended use of copying the system name and then copying it into the Navigation panel on your ship...

This does not work for me and now not sure if that was the purpose.. I am running a PC with Windows 10.

Any idea on this or how to transfer a system name without having to manual input every system ?

Yep. Once it's copied to the clipboard, go into the star map, click in the text box, and hit Ctrl+V. Will paste it nicely, I do this a lot.

I use this all the time when I fancy a quick r2r jaunt. There's tons of CTRL commands many of which are not relevant to ED... Ctrl o = open, Ctrl x = cut, Ctrl a = select all, (in Outlook only) Ctrl d will mark all selected as read. The list goes on.

As above. I do this even between 2 computers.

But I have found that occassionaly it doesn't work, the search field just doesn't accept the input or whatever. I just get out of map and back in.

Thanks so much guys....That 'CTRL + V' did the trick for me....Was going crazy copinging the name of systems like, "Col 285 Sector EX-J C9-23" first on a piece of paper and then opening up ED Ship Nav panel and manually inputting the same into the Nav without a mistake [mad]... You have make my gaming less stressful [big grin]

I'm all for less stress. Example... I wanted to go "up top" just the other week so I selected a system vertically higher than where I was and clicked on it. From there, I selected a higher one and clicked on it. And so on and so forth until I got somewhere.

I was fiddling around today and saw that holding the right mouse button down while moving it scrolls you up and down the bubble! Oh, my days!

Increase the peace o7
