Newcomer / Intro Using Neutron Stars

Ok, so I have just plotted my route to Colonia, and asked it to include jet cone boosts. Sure enough, my next jump was to a neutron star and I survived the passage through the jet cone with the usual messages about safety limits and whatnot.

Now, though, as I try to do my next hyperspace jump (boosted to 243 Ly!) it tells me I am exceeding my FSD limit of 8 tons of fuel usage.

How do I get around this? It seems a little odd that it plots the course to the next star and then tells me I can't do it after all...

Yeah I have tried replotting a few times. Tbh it won't even plot a sensible course to the next two stars, let alone the 15KLy I have still to go to Colonia.

The stowaway was released into space during the last fuel scoop run. No-one saw me do it ;)

Just entering the come is not enough. You will get the messages you received, but you need to be in the come long enough for a message to come up on your upper right HUD saying the FSD is operating at 4x capacity (or something along those lines). Then you target your destination and jump.

Basically stay in the cone till you get the second message

Yes, GeoJase, I think that's what my problem is. I will stay in the cone longer next time! Cheers guys :)
