using the system map with OR - problem selecting targets

Greetings commanders!
I have a small issue that I could not track down help for in the search section of this great forum. Before I started using OR, and was using HOTAS, k/b, monitor and mouse I was able to select 'system map' and navigate (point) to any stars, planets and stations in any selected system. This was done using HAT and mouse to move left, right up and down to select a target (or mouse to point and click).
Now I'm using the OR with 'voice attack' I have found that ED has moved me to a whole new gaming experience, however I can no longer select any of the items shown in a system map. The HAT mini-joy will move left or right but no matter what I do I cannot get the cross-hair box to go up or down so am unable to select stations that are shown above or below planets. There seems to be no settings in the 'controls settings' menu relating to the systems map (galaxy map movement is fine).
Can I ask any commanders that are using OR + HOTAS + VoiceAttack how you select objects in the 'system map' (not to be confused with the galaxy map). I'm obviously unable to check what services particular stations offer until I get this resolved. Any advice appreciated!

There are controls at the very bottom to allow zoom and Z axis (up and down) control to the galaxy map. For the Logitech G940 that i have, none of those were bound and i had to bind them myself.

This was a video I made a few months ago showing how I have my controls set up

Thanks for that Malik, however, I am able to navigate and select items in the galaxy map. Its the 'system map' that I'm having trouble with. There appears to be no way to bind any key to the Z (up/down) axis as no settings are listed in the control menu relating to 'system map'. Axes X and Y work in system map, and X,Y and Z work in galaxy map.
How do you select a docking station within the 'system map'?,. I can only move L and R (and most docking stations are sited below planets in the system map, so I need to be able to scroll/move up/down too).
Hope someone can help out here?

The "Translate Forward/Backward" controls should move the System Map view up and down -- at least, that's how it works for me.

Many thanks Buadyen! - that's sorted it. I've now bound those controls to the 'up and down' movement of the HAT control on my joystick (to tie-in with the L and R on the HAT). I can now select anything in the system map and use the mouse-wheel to zoom. It works. Cheers -

WORKED FOR ME.

It took me an hour to resolve my password and login issues, but I did it so I could comment on this solution.

Controls for the Galaxy Map are partially shared by the System Map. Go to Options > Controls > Galaxy Map and change "Galaxy Cam Translate" controls. They seem to be bound to A W S D on the keyboard by default.
