USS Spawns, is there a trick i'm missing?.

FWIW, had some success just now as soon as I returned to the planet's sphere of influence and made sure I didn't drop down below 200km/s (which apparently dumps you into 3 mins of guaranteed no-show). Just kinda see-sawed between 210 & 275. Jackpot. Finally!

Could you possibly explain exactly what you did? I read that link you posted but surely it's not as many steps has it shows? I would love to go and see that thing I won't mention that everyone's is talking about in VR but I can't get these ridiculous USS to appear

Very plausible as when i was going slow orbit i got nothing at all to appear, when i hit around 10 - 20% throttle (not sure on speed) they appeared again but sadly not the right one.

Literally all I was focusing on was making sure I didn't drop below 200 km/s, as that seems to be the big no-no, (and trying not to zoom up beyond 300 km/s and out of that comfort zone). To achieve that I stuck my speed somewhere below the blue zone, approached the planet until my speed was in that range, and then mainly pitched up and down in an orbital path to maintain in that vague speed zone, just knocking my thrust up if I was in danger of dropping below 200 km/s.

As I said in another thread, everyone I know who got a UP got it at the first USS that spawned. If your first USS point is anything else, or if nothing spawns within the first 5 minutes, my advice would be to save to desktop then start the game up again.

I got mine after about half an hour at Pleiades Sector KC-U B3-1 8. Went through about 4 or 5 other USSs before I got one ~13 Mm from the planet center.
