Supreme Enforcer Zaan has commanded the Sim Archive 0 to patrol the area around the Bovomit sector for the next year.
Citing rumors and theories that bovomit is home to the ancient AI race that destroyed the Guardians, and the source of many rumors of millions of ships out in the Formadine Rift as some stories have been told throughout history. While nobody has seen evidence of them recently, it is believed that certain elements of controlling interests in the superpowers and manufacturers of core ship systems are aware of actual evidence and are keeping it under wraps and locking out entire sectors to keep control over certain agreements made with these and other non-human civilizations.
In a rare press release, Enforer Zaan stated that Utopia places the utmost importance on knowledge and the transparent transmission of it to it's people. Utopia doesn't lie. We will find out if there is truth to this and all of Utopia will know if anything is found. It's our mandate to welcome relations with this civilization if it exists as it could bring us ever closer to ultimate harmony with technology and the universe. That's why we are sending the Sim Archive 0 out. It will bring with it the sum of all Utopian's knowledge and memories and broker first contact if any can be made. We are Utopians, and it's our duty to lead humanity into a state of harmony and protect it from those who would keep us from achieving it. UTOPIA!
Reports of the departure of the rarely seen Sim Archive 0 had already began the journey to the remote sector were confirmed yesterday. Only a skeleton crew were apparently aboard the ship. However, some reports suggest that the Sim Archive ships Utopia has scattered about are more than just storage banks of data acquired from Utopians themselves and are also extremely capable at defending themselves from hostile forces. This would go some ways into explaining why the skeleton crew on the ship was noted as having numerous combat equipped ships and triple elite Utopian Enforcers rather than civilian scientists. Perhaps the Supreme Enforcer expects danger in the remote reaches despite all previous exploration efforts showing no signs of anything but a derelict Mega Ship from a previous Earth-like scouting mission. It's unlikely we will find out until the Sim Archive 0 returns ...or misses it's intended return date as few explorers venture out to that part of the galaxy anymore.
In other news, Yuri Grom has allegedly been seen having an intimate rendezvous with Edmund Mahon aboard his private pleasure cruiser. At first it was believed Mahon was attempting to broker some kind of peace deal with the independent leader but it was later found out that the only non-crew members aboard the cruiser was Mr. Grom and Mr. Mahon. It's unclear what transpired over the nearly 12 hour stay but there were some reports that Grom was seen returning to his headquarters with a slight limp. Mahon and Grom were unavailable for comment.
