Thought this one up this morning so I thought I'd give it a shot.
Anyhow, a lot of theme park rides have themed sets which have UV paint applied on its surface and this is illuminated by UV lighting. Correct me if I'm wrong here but I think its main purpose is to illuminate a specific object without lighting up the area around it, which is why white clothing becomes very fluorescent when a UV light is projected onto you!
How can this be done in Planet Coaster you ask? Simple. Make there be another version of the coloured area light, only it is not recolourable (faint purple only!) and when turned on, only scenery items and nothing else in its range are illuminated, possibly with a faint hint of purple. This would be a fantastic addition to the game because then while you're building dark rides, you won't have to worry about scenery being seen without lighting up too much of the room.
What do you guys think?
