I love my Rift. With HOTAS, ED and some free time it's bleddy marvelous.

But.

Just brought a car with a V8 engine. It comes with 6dof headtracking. Native forcefeedback steering wheel. Ultra High resoltion display. And the Sound Engineering is just.... wow. WillyTinglinglyGood.

So, at the moment, as the thread title suggests, V8 > VR.

Agreed! Only got a high rpm v6 but yes it's definatly true.

Yep, I agree.

Mine's only 4-cylinder but it's the closest I can get to Super Cruise.

V6 Twin Turbo...

Feels about as fast as my Eagle but probably uses more fuel.

As a car and VR nut I +1 this thread

Currently owning 2*l4, l5, l6 and a V8. I tried Project Cars in VR but I prefer the real deal.

Very nice And I know someone with the exact same car, custom V8, side pipes, welded rear doors, widened, etc.

Project Cars and Assetto Corsa in VR are awesome, but nothing compared to even being driven in a nice car.

Here's why: It wasn't a coupe. It's heavily modified as you can see.

Opel Rekord Series C. Yours is a Chevrolet Opala if I'm not mistaken, it's is based on the Rekord.
