This is probably a dumb question but my brain is frazzled and I don't want to try any adjustments in case I mess everything up so I am hoping for some informed guidance...
I took the plunge and forked out for VA and a HCS pack (Eden) since I have been drawn into the Oculus sale. I got everything installed, set up the voice recognition (needs some work) and sure enough Eden answers me and thinks she is doing certain actions. Trouble is most of the actions are not actually being performed - now I assume that is because my bindings are set up different to that in the VA or HCS (not sure which - probably the HCS profile). I had done the import my controls thing and it seemed to accept that. So for example when I say raise landing gear Eden tells me she is doing so but it doesn't actually happen.
Now I don't particularly want to lose all my bindings since I use a CHPro Throttle, Fighterstick and Pedals plus a couple of TM Cougar MFDs. So can I alter things so that my bindings are kept and that the VA / Eden combo uses those? If I can, how do I make these changes, is it a case of going in and manually editing the ".vap" file or is there a GUI or something else?
Sorry if this is a real noob question but it is my first venture into the world of Voice Attack.
P.S. The Eden comes with two profiles, one called "Full House" - I have used that one, is that correct for Horizons?
P.P.S. I installed these things on a spinning disc drive, should I actually uninstall and then reinstall, letting them use their default locations on my C drive SSD (I have plenty room on it)?
