Not entirely off-topic, perhaps, but just saw the first trailer. Here's hoping this is the sort of thing Elite has in store for us! (Especially that station at 0:38...ok and all the cities, and various aliens...)

I love the Valerian comics (or are they French Manga?).

Trailer is quite action packed, hope the full movie catches the more contemplative side of the story too, and isn't just another B-class action flick butchering good franchise.

He is usually good value. Love his visual style. Not a fan of Lucy though.

It actually looks quite interesting, at least visually. Besson had his ups and downs, but he definitely carries his own style and vision with confidence.

Looks great! I loved Fifth Element, so I'm sure this will be good too!

This movie makes "The Fifth Element" look like a tech test and dress rehearsal. It's even got loads of Sid from "Ice Age"

I'll still watch it, but I'll be thinking "that looks like New York" and "that looks like a Mondoshawan". I can't help it with the visual look from Luc.
