Valve Index - Get rid of 90 Hz/FPS Lock from Elite Dangerous?

First of all: Running with Valve Index: Stunning!

I had a HTC and a Oculus before, but damn with the Valve Index, it is a complete new experience!
Sadly, I noticed in Settings, the FPS/HZ are locked to 90 while my 2080 Ti can prob. handle the 144 HZ, so I am curious, if we can get rid of it?

EDProfiler dosnst work for me, he simply dont detect any settings. So I am unsure. I also tried to manually remove the FPS Lock, but it just write it back, the Moment you run with a HMD.

Can the Valve Index manage 144 hz? I remember that the old Rift and VIVE were able to handle a max of 90 hz, but I don't know the max FPS for the latest equipment.

Yep, Vive is 120 / 144 Hz, and you feel the difference. But seems it get capped to 90 somehow.

If you see 144Hz in SteamVR's performance graph, which you can enable in game as well, then it's displaying it at that. Doesn't matter what the game setting says. However I find that even on the default "VR low" setting my 2080ti struggles to keep up with even 120Hz with HMD 1.5.
