Vampyr

You better not shout, you better not cry, you better not expect the teddy bears tonight I’m tellin’ you why, Vampy is coming to town.

Anyone tried this one, i'm gonna bite on this one [yum] it's a single player game, it got a story, and you can suck the blood out of people, what's not to like?

"“Forget everything you think you know about vampires,” the noblewoman in period dress tells me, in her straight-out-of-Hammer cut-glass accent. This was during our latest night-time meeting (for we cannot walk in sunlight), shortly after I’d caught her secretly sinking her teeth into the necks of the dispossessed, and shortly before I’d been beset by agony upon trying to enter a church. I don’t know what foolish notions her ladyship thought I had about my new status as a fellow vamp – maybe that they all have Welsh accents, or drink blood via their toenails – but ambitious, atmospheric fangs ‘n’ conversation game Vampyr doesn’t often veer far from the current neck-biter hymn sheet.""

*So i did search for a thread on this forum, however nothing came up, apologize to the forum power that be if there was one already

I’ just started it. Initial impressions are good. Movement is slightly wonky. Atmosphere is very good. Story seems quite interesting. There’s a lot of dialogue. Your decisions change things significantly.

Yeah, I'm playing it. It's from people who made Life is Strange, for crying out loud how could any story-loving player miss this? :)

Agreed with Codger, I am not really into combat. It's a bit clunky and probably tries to be something it can't be. :D
But atmosphere, characters, story,... those are great.

Haven't finished it, yet, but I don't regret buying it.

I like it a lot, when you get use to the combat mechanics its pretty good, I also like that you can take your time to really explore the surroundings, and that your actions impact the game and your story.
