Just a heads up. Vendetta Online, for those who don't know, a fun online space game which has been around since 98ish and was officially released in 2004 i think, is now free untill June 1st. I played it way too much from 2004 till 2012ish. The game is still going strong and it supports multiple platforms (MacOS, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS and Oculus Go) on the same server. It was developed by a small team of 4 people (I think only 1 remains, correct me if I'm wrong), so don't expect too much from it, but the combat is exceptionally good.
It was my filler for my Elite needs in a time that we where in a space game vacuum. Although Freelancer was out in the same time, this one cought my intrest more because of the true 6dof flightmodel wich was a lot more fun. Specially in combat, fights between ships were like a beautiful dance if you looked at it from far away.
It's one of the lesser known spacesims, but it actually deserves more attention. If you love space games, chances are you're gonna like this one. anyway, check it out and enjoy:
