Ever go to the grocery and buy something, and have your wife look at you and declare "You cook that!" and walk off?

It never ends well.

I found a sale on smoked herrings. Bought a pack. Cooked it, intending to win that little point.

Now, we have to open all the windows...[knocked out]

People going by in the street are crossing the road to get away.
This had better be delicious. But I suspect, it won't be.

They will probably ask your wife to take a shower sorry it was a low hanging fruit

But smoked herrings can be eaten cold with snaps, lots of snaps

So, what's "snaps"?


I tried a hunk of it with eggs and Tostitos salsa, and a giant coffee, salty and not half bad in the end. I'd cook it again. ( with cross ventilation)
