Version for Mac

Anyone else think we deserve a version for Mac? How are those of us with Macs supposed to play? I’m so bummed by this and hope they decide to make one for us Max users!

It's either hope for a Mac version or buy a console or buy or build a PC that can play the game.

I suspect JWE requires Compute Shaders, which Apple doesnt support yet in their OS.

Planet Coaster hasn't been released for macOS, I see no reason to expect Jurassic Park Evolution for macOS either.

The track record isn't looking good for Frontier support of a Mac version.
I would have expected it to be in the announcement if it was even on their radar.

Hi dbreck,

Jurassic World Evolution is set to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and we have nothing to announce for a Mac version at the moment. If there are any changes to this, we'll surely let the community know.

I've given up expecting games to come to the Mac, and get use a PC strictly for games (and/or boot camp the Mac for PC games). A lot of Mac hardware is not tailored for the Raw horsepower that games consume, so as much as I've tried to make fairly expensive Macs be gaming machines, I'm much more satisfied with a relatively cheap gaming PC to have strictly for that.
