Vertical and lateral thrusters not working w/ hotas

Hey everyone,

after update 17 I logged on and for some reason the x/y thrusters don't work when keybound to my hotas. I know the hotas is working because I can assign the controls easily enough, just nothing happens when I try to move in those directions. And I can still throttle, roll and pitch just five. If I map x/y thrusters to my keyboard it works ok. Anyone else had this issue?

the lost bind guide stuck at the top of this pc subforum may help you find out whats happened even if you use the nb method with your currrent binding folder stashed away safe somewhere...……………….

Hey all, I've just had this come up again after the latest update. Not sure if anyone else has come across it yet? It's not a binding issue, if i use my keyboard my thrusters work, and i can use my hat (?) stick to navigate the galaxy map so it's definitely getting input. Just doesn't want to work with the directional thrusters. I've tried relogging, quitting and i've jumped several times with no luck. Any advice?

Neither of the two examples you quoted invalidates the assumption that your bindings got messed up.
Keyboard input is handled differently from stick input, and any (well, almost) stick function can be bound to any control function. So it's still possible that the binding between your hat and the thruster control got messed up. Doesn't need to interfere with other hat bindings or other ways to control the thrusters.

Do you have anything assigned to alternative controls that might affect it (when landing gear is down)
