Very Bright Water In Buildings

I like to make dark rides but it seems water does not become dark in caves or buildings I have global illumination on maximum.

If this won't get fixed...
What about the water scenery pieces? They don't have surface movement but slight light reflection animation (don't know if they're reflecting anything).

Also, what happens if you cover the bottom of the pool in black Art Shapes or other dark coloured pieces? Just an idea. Never tried it.
