Very interesting Kickstarter project (Exo One)

Hi All,

I Just came across this very imaginative and fun looking game, currently a kickstarter project.

Definitely more one for the explorers/puzzle solver among us.

It only has 62 hours left to pledge as of my posting this.

Please consider backing if you are interested i'm about too!

I like the graphics, I like the sound, but the author said "there's no enemy to shoot at" or somesuch. The gameplay looks to be nothing more than driving/flying your Round Thing around different planets. There's probably a lot of people for whom this game will appeal to, that's for sure.

To my jaundiced eyes, though, the first thing that came to mind when watching the albeit pleasant video, was...

A game which I did play for a bit, in days of yore ;)

Looks and sounds great, but for me the gameplay looks very shallow and repetitive. If this were (say) part of ED where you could drop a ball drone to explore planets, it'd be an amazing addition. But as a complete game in itself, it looks a little thin to me.

What have we come to. Walking simulators evolved into rolling simulators...
Aesthetically it is pleasing, can't complain about it. But as a game I can't see me being occupied by this for more than 10 minutes.

I don't see a game, I see a tech demo from 10 years ago. Or something you put together for a class project.

Looks interesting at first glance, but the dev does not seem to be planning to expand the 'gameplay' we already see in this vid.
To me it seems that I have seen all the gameplay there is.
I might still buy it for 5 bucks or so.
