Very persistent A.I. pirate

So I was transporting 120t of pellidium rare commoditys and silver as I got closer to my destination I got interdicted by an elite vulture I boosted and got away. 3 seconds later interdicted by the same vulture, well I boosted again as I was really close to my destination. This vulture almost caught up with me this time but I got away again. Came out of supercruse at my destination station and you guessed it same freaking vulture he opened fire and I'm 10km away from the station all out of shield cells banks. Then there it is no fire zone entered. I'm badly damaged and coming in hot the vulture turns around and kinda hangs out at 10km away. I went in sold my cargo repaired and rearmed and he is still outside (omg staph ) I went to greet him almost died and retreated rearmed /repaired he is still outside what do I do now I'm stuck in a station with horrible outfiting and just enough cr to cover 1 insurance claim. Also who the hell programmed the A.I. one moment easy pickings the next better than most players.

I had something similar when I defected from Li Yong rui. Had one of the agents interdict me several times didn't feel like blowing him up as I was heading to do a mission. He followed me to the station, started shooting my and the station and security ships destroyed him lol.

unfortunately you're not really trapped since as soon as you re-instance (log out or so) your npc friend will be gone.

The intended way for you to escape an interdiction pirate is to hyperspace jump to another system. The boost boost jump to supercruise method is a weak game mechanic and would probably be removed from the game if it wasn't 100% guaranteed to incur the wrath of the care bears. It'd be nice if this was FD's backhanded way of dealing with the boost boost jumpers without technically removing the game mechanic. Unfortunately I think it's just a one off.

Well I tried again this time lured him within range of the local defense forces. he killed 2 of them than ran like a little piggy . Finally I can leave!

If it's any conciliation I just tested this and got interdicted by the same NPC 12 times in a row before getting bored and high-waking.

I've seen a couple of these recently. One got destroyed by the station and the other high tailed it out of there once I entered the NFZ. I'm not pledged to anyone if that makes a difference but it was one of my allies' rivals one of the times.

So, to clarify, instantly jumping to hyperspace, where you can only be tracked with specialized equipment, and during which you cannot be mass locked, is somehow less "carebear" than desperately struggling to escape from potential mass lock to an area where you can be easily intercepted again, as this thread we are in is currently discussing?
What is your logic here?

I had one like this too, I had full cargo hold of goods in my A-Rated python. and got pulled 6 times by the same pirate in an Eagle with a 675cr bounty :)

Didn't have the heart to pew pew it
