Vet / Animal removal bug

I've been having an issue where an animal will die, a vet will go to remove them, and then they will get stuck inside the enclosure. They jus stand there, losing mood. Even if fired they do not move. Even if the enclosure is deleted, they do not move. They just stand there, getting angry, and being paid, and the dead animal is never removed because a vet is already assigned.

It isn't a traversal area issue because the keeper will still enter and do duties, as will other vets.

Does anyone know how to get my vet out of limbo?

Are you able to pick up and move the vet? Sometimes that's possible. I also do recall someone's tutorial video (from some time ago) having a similar problem but I dont know if there was a solution.

I openned the barrier and used the terrain tools to roll the dead otter out of the habitat and out of sight. The vet still stayed soft locked until I restarted the game, then he and the dead otter vanished.

edited to add: I had restarted the game before, but it wasn't until I rolled away the dead otter that the vet finally left.

Deleting the habitat gate and re-adding it has fixed this issue in the past.

Didn't do anything for me, even after restart. The problem didn't resolve until I manually rolled the otter out of its habitat.
