Vet research stuck

Hi. My one of my vets has been stuck on jaguar research lvl 2 for 3 in game years now. I have 2 vets. One is researching perfectly. I have tried getting the working researcher to research the jaguar but it just will not progress. Is it bugged? And should I submit a ticket?

Edit: Thanks for all the help. It turned out to be a slightly odd pathing issue.

Hmmm, I never had a problem with research although sometimes it does take quite a while for them to research some animals. Don't know exactly how long it takes as I never look at the in-game years because they go by so fast.

Perhaps try speeding up the time for a little and if they don't research it then I guess it's bugged?

I would maybe try following the vet in case there is something stopping them getting to the jaguar habitat - may be a glitch in the pathing or them stuck in the research centre. I don't think workzones can stop them with the assigned research but may also be worth looking at.

How far from the research Center is the Jaguar? If it's too far, that could be a factor. Also, maybe your research center is too small. Only 1 vet can enter the small research center at a time (up to 4 in the large one)

Oh, also try training them. The higher their training the faster and better they are at their job

Just to be sure, do you have 2 research centers?

And, not exactly sure if this could be it, but do you still have Jaguars in your Zoo?
Because I think if you don't have the animal, you cant research it.

This is important, IIRC. Coz if you place an animal and then you send it back to the trade center, research doesn't continue, even though it's unlocked in the research platform.

Thanks mate. It was a pathing issue. Odd because mechanics and vets found it ok to get to when called but not when they tried to path themselves.
