Veteran PC commander, on the PS4.

Well what can I say. FDev have done a really nice job of converting the game over to the PS4, the controls are smooth and easy to use and they have worked in a lot of the PS4 controller options into the default for the game. Just one little thing they could do is add the station voices to use the controller speaker would be awesome.

If they ever give the PS4 version VR support then this would be the clinch for me to purchase a VR headset for the PS4 as well. It just feels odd not wearing a VR headset after playing the game for 1 year in the Vive.

It has been a long time since I have messed around in a stock sidewinder and I thought I would get bored with it very soon and go back to the PC version and fly around in my Clipper. But there is something about flying about with little to no money in a basic sidewinder that was refreshing.
I have of course upgraded the ship so nearly all of it is now using grade A or grade D equipment, still got to unlock the engineers but this will happen in time as I don't grind anything in the game. I just play it how I like without concentrating on doing one single thing over and over again, I found if I do that the game can become very boring of endlessly grinding missions, bounty hunting etc etc.

Even though I have enough to buy a Eagle or maybe a Adder I am holding off till I have mastered the controls for the PS4 in the sidewinder. So if I mess up or get destroyed I won't have to pay a lot on the insurance to get a replacement. Also I am going to treat myself and buy some ship kits for it and paintjobs.

[woah] just realised when I get the Viper MKIII I can put the Union Jack on it [big grin].

One more thing to the new commanders. Welcome to the galaxy and hope to see you out there in the Black. o7
