...i suggest using lateral thrusters next time you attack a large ship, so your can maintain sights on your target. Holding your up or down thrusters while adjusting your aim allows you to move around your target in a circle strafe without losing sight of it, instead of using strafing runs which are more useful against smaller, more nimble targets.

I did do a couple lateral thrust shots, but I enjoy a good ol strafing run, the ship couldn't hit me much with my chaff anyways.

I found this specific coloring on the hud tweak thread. The enemies are purple, friendlies are green. It only works if the coloring tweak is made and set up properly.

i swear those cobras have plasma accelerators or something we havent seen yet. What are those big purple balls they shoot

massive sound, and it scared me when I heard it behind me thought i was gonna get rammed by a capital ship hahahaha

Who knows, I'll need to check up on that. It was a viper with the plasma cannon so I'm guess the Cobra should be able to have them too.
