Del CMDT Alec Turner, un nuevo evento de rally en SRV, donde el recorrido de la final se ha planificado con la herramienta SRV Tracker y sólo se ha mostrado a los participantes 5 minutos antes de comenzar

Para los interesados en la SRV Tracker:

The SRVTRacker application (written by Crank Larson) allows us to create and then follow waypoints using a small on-screen overlay which contains a compass bearing for the next waypoint, a direction arrow to follow and tips about the bearing to take for the subsequent waypoint. It also records location and other telemetry for all racers (max speed, etc) and keeps track of who's passed which waypoints and consequently who's winning. For this race waypoints were circles with a 100m radius. Occasionally you'll see SRVs skidding to a halt and doing a U-turn. This is because they've missed their waypoint and need to go back for it.

En la carrera no se ha permitido síntesis de reparación. Sólo se permiten pit stops llamando a tu nave, embarcando en ella y desembarcando de nuevo para continuar.
