This seems like you dont know the contents, and trade it just by flying close to another ship..

It appears on your contacts list and target prompt as Iron Ore and once you scoop it you can check your cargo hold on the right-hand panel.

The selling to an anaconda by getting close is just a for this scenario as trading doesn't come until a later alpha phase (Trading and Travel).

I like the fact that it takes some effort to scoop them.

Could provide for some pretty tense moments in game when you are trying to scoop all the cargo from a fresh kill, all the time aware that you could be a sitting duck for any predators.

Like the noise afterwards too ;)

I had a thought about this. To scoop cargo you need to go quite slowly and steadily, so to me it's a great way for the canny trader to trick a pirate. The pirate will try to force you to drop cargo, when you do they will try and pick it up. They have to do this slowly, slowly enough for the trader to get round onto his tail and teach him a lesson.....

Or, for the pirate, leave a can in space...go cold and hide behind a rock.

You shud make a vid where you land inside the big battlecuiser did see it done on kerrash live stream, if you whant to have some docking practice.:)

I will do this tonight.. I already had a video of it last night, but deleted it. It was a long dogfight and I ended up going inside the "tunnel" , doing a u-turn, and shooting out like a launch sequence.. but deleted because of a hangup on the pc near the end spoiled it..
