Can you apply a G3 Experimental effect at a lower-tier Engineer, then use a pinned G5 blueprint from a higher tier Engineer at a remote engineering station, and keep the Experimental effect? Yes!

You'll need to collect all the G1-G5 materials with this method. If I had converted my module at Palin, I'd only need to collect the G5 materials (and the materials for the experimental effect).
