So.. can a large group of game players decide the fate/outcome of a war over sovereignty in real life?
Round up enough well informed and opinionated players and fight it out in virtual reality first. Play, decide, no lives lost???
Before the virtual battle I visualise a global advertising campaign encouraging everyone to get the latest game patch, ensuring all participants use the same joystick and weeks of political debate before the fight starts... losers lose their passport, their home and identity - everything!
What a strange planet we live on.
