I found this on the internet and it’s something that’s always intrigued me. How much fuel do those rockets burn?!.
In this video someone has illustrated that nicely and made the rockets transparent as they ascend.

Just now it dawned to me that the space shuttle is only a dual stage rocket, while all the others are triple.

I saw this on my YouTube feed first, must be trending. Or more likely, the fact I've got a lot of subscriptions dedicated to space

This was facinating to look at, apart from visually which was awesome, from a comparison standpoint in terms of staging times too. Great!

In the case of that Saturn V first stage, five F-1s together use about 90 metric tons of propellant per minute.
