That's actually pretty good. First time I've seen the whole NaCl thing being used in a way that isn't cringe inducing.
Interesting video too. I realise you were using full FA on for testing purposes, but is the take-home message that a combination of FA off and FA on is superior to either extreme?
Well fought, Nightshady, but before you're going to make that point stick you're going to have the supply the video of you besting Sundae/JohnRaanes/Rinzler o7o7o7/Beumer or some of the other hiearchy of GCI. No doubt about it, your skills are pure and you deserve much respect, but as the head of the 13th Legion your point isn't made concerning GCI because you aren't showing that you can beat their instructors.

FA-off is great when used for maneuvering, but if as the video shows if you try and use it full-time while using fixed weapons, your DPS will be low.

Not surprising.
Not combat context, but I find my fastest docking times (off angle) are with a combination of FA on/off. There are some strange thruster mechanics going on when when you are flying FA off, are pointed at about 40º-70º off in terms of pitch from direction of motion, and then you turn FA on - the ship - even the Anaconda, flattens out it's path remarkably quickly. I've never been able to get even close in purely FA off or on.
I've found that handy in combat, too.

There are definite differences in handling between FA-on and FA-off. My understanding of it is that acceleration is faster in FA-off, but deceleration is slower - a lot slower - when trichording. This is why a mix of flight modes is objectively "better" - there is more performance than can be found in either mode exclusively.

Which is all the more peculiar when you consider the fact that the PvE crowd honestly don't care who can beat who with pretend space ships.
