Video of using VideoAttack (voice commands)

After watching VA in use last night - got it installed and the commands programmed, but it doesn't seem to be passing commands to the Elite UI - it is working on keypresses and I've tried passing it to "active window" as well as "Elite:D" and nothing happening.

I've tested the recognition and it's picking up my screams perfectly....

Voice attack is great.

Best 8 quid to full upgrade ive spent in some time. Very useful as long as you do the voice training and dont just expect to jump in and it work first time.

I like VoiceAttack, although it's not as quick as I'd like; but I blame my old PC and the fact it is running a website in VMWare!! So it's way over utilised

Hi Sp33dy

Watched your video - very interesting. It does seem glitchy, with many commands requiring 2 attempts, but as you said could be down to your PC more than anything else.

Interesting concept so thank you for sharing.

I know from my experience for the last few weeks VA has worked first time first command instantly 99% of the time.

Its amazing what you can do with it, i feel a bit cheat-y if im honest.

Good video! Not sure the voice commands are something I'd want to rely on. They seem to be a hit and miss affair. Certainly not quicker than manual controls but I can imagine in the heat of a dogfight they'd be somewhat useful. ;)

how does voice attack handle accents? I saw in the video that is was having some difficulty.

I've been using voice attack and so far it's been perfect. My accent was originally Lancashire, then with a bit of Belfast and then Yorkshire. No doubt now it has Triestino creeping in.
I kept running the windows voice recognition and then assigned the commands. Make sure that VA flawlessly recognises your commands before assigning them.
I definitely recommend using VA. :)

your accent is a bit like mine then a mish mash of accents haha

good to know that it can understand different accents
