At this point in time, if you want a fantastic space simulator, it's either Elite: Dangerous or the 1983 version of Activision's Space Shuttle:

I actually had this game. I bought it second hand at a private sale around 1984 and had a blast. It's a tough game and completely unlike the other great Activision hits like Pitfall II and Chopper Command.

It's a bit of a no brainer. It provides a lot of return on your investment. At worst you play it and don't like it. If you buy it, you probably know enough about it that won't be the case.

Btw, the video is hilarious. You sound like dracula.
