[VIDEO] Some changes in Alpha 2.2 :)

I am left handed, so can't use a HOTAS set up; Thrustmaster 16000M might be OK

I'm left handed, but I ended up getting an x52 pro because I couldn't find anything for a lefty.
I'm not having as much trouble adapting as I expected, although the stick twist makes me realize how much weaker my right hand is. :p

Driving cars felt weird for me initially (right hand drive), I wanted the gear stick on the right, but you get used to it.

Another video from another scenario (also added to first post). This is me doing Endless War with the Flurry setup- gimballed laser + cannon. I got confused with the reticules from time to time :p.

All of the ships (including mine) are able to take more damage... there's a hairy bit near the middle where I would have definitely died in earlier versions!

Nice vids.

A couple of questions.

1) Are those videos running normal speed? The seem to be running rather fast to me!.

2) Is it possible to use 2 controllers in conjunction with each other? I have a barely used flightstick which I would love to get some value out of before replacing, it has the twist grip and also a throttle (its an MS sidewinder) but nothing for the strafing (lateral??) thrusters.

I was thinking of masking taping a 360 pad to the bottom of my sidewinder (the joystick not my space ship ;) ) and using that for strafing and also extra buttons.

Thanks :)!

They are running normally, at 60+ frames per second. This might look fast compared with experience of the game at lower frame rates.

As far as I know, there is still an issue with multiple control inputs; people want to use two joysticks but can't. Then again, I am not sure how hotas works :)

cool, i think it is probably the fps, it looks fantastic :) I watch (er listen honest boss) to most the vids on twitch, and twitch runs at a horrific fps on my works machine so i guess I just got used to it looking a bit slow.

It looks loads better running at correct speed :)

Thanks for the info regarding sticks, hopefully by the time the game launches this will be addressed
