As things were a little quiet in game today and I now have my ship set up how I want it. I thought I would see how quickly I could get from being parked at the spawn point to parked in the dock.

No Side Winders (and only my Cobra) were damaged in the making of this video.

Turns out 46 seconds, or 9.14 left on the clock.

The gauntlet is down!

I think I have landed from the entrance to the pad in less than 20 seconds.

Docking is very easy once done a few times. The way the pad just "grabs you" without you having to touch down is what makes it easy.

Have a crack then, stationary at spawn point, start the clock and dock asap. I think my time is very beatable.

That acceleration is insane. It should be not allowed in this game. Especially maneuvers that are made from full speed into reverse then max speed forward. That would kill anybody in real life.
I had discussion about yaw being nerfed down compared to moving in other axis and I heard explanations about G forces that would be bad for pilot in lateral rotation but are ok in pitch and roll.
I would like to show them videos like this one with insane G forces generated by such insane speed change.

I was watching this video on my phone and my wife walked past me and said , 'Is that a new game for your phone?' I said, 'yes it is. Its called Commander Sam and the Space pirates of tomorrow. If you can find it on Google play I'll make cups of tea all day for you'...

She spent fifteen minutes trawling through Google Play before I told her it was a video... She's not talking to me now. And I still have to make her cups of tea all day
