So, I was hopping around in a NAV Beacon. And suddenly I see this lovely Python. Playing this game since its release on the 16th. The magnitude of the Python's power came to a surprise on my little Sidewinder.

After 3 minutes barking around he started to hit my shields really bad with its bottomside turrets. I tried to stay on top, but that didnt work out! Forgetting all about my chaff's in the hectic moment, he managed to break my canopy pretty easy.

With no HUD projected any more I was a bit lost. But figured it out quick enough how to navigate to Wohler Terminal. :)

It was time to get home! Really, really fast! Boost to the engines and systems. Retract hard points and run! With only 7 minutes of air left, you choose were you can go fastest.

I think due to a bug the docking numbers aren't always shown at present time. So I got lost in the station. Skipping a little structure there. No worries. Home sweet home. Once inside the bay you have air anyway :).

Nice recovery dude.
Remember, don't panic and when you have a pad allocated, the compass indicates where it is, in front,behind, above, below etc.

I was silly enough trying to kill a Elite ranked NPC using my 4 Beam Lasers equipped Cobra, but had too less power for all systems. Shields went offline, managed to escape with 17% hull. When arriving at the station I noticed my scanners were gone. So I couldn't ask for landing permission. First time i had to use self destruct. Lesson learned! ;-)
