Newcomer / Intro View from outside the ship?

Hi,

is there a way to get a third person view? to see one's ship from the outside? I mean, there has to be, or what would be the point of buying paintjobs?

I believe it's unbound by default so go into the options menu -> controls -> miscellaneous -> debug camera toggle and assign it to the button of your choice.

I believe F10 will automaticly do those if you havn't used it for another bind....

And before you ask they are put in your pictures folder in the one labeled Frontier Developments

If you're in Solo or Group mode, Alt-F10 will get you hi-res pics.

How do you get hi-res pics in OPEN mode? (If it is possible)

Not possible. Your Frame Rate goes to hell, if you were the instance server, everyone would time out.
