I was just watching the BIS video, and he talks about how certain Dino's like the T.REx and most likely Velociraptors will want more forest. And since of these are presumably high value, what will happen to the viewing galleries. Will that cone of viewing cut through trees and elevation or will you have to Get lucky with them popping out of the forests?

It's a good question. From what I've heard, the short answer is: we'll never know. Apparently there is no way to select a gallery and actually see the view it provides. Maybe there will be some sort of guest satisfaction rating that goes up or down depending on the layout of the exhibit. Time will tell.
That might be what guests like. Wanting to see the dinos lurking through Woodlands.
You don't need to make the entire enclosure into a forest, so I will be placing a viewing gallery at a open space close to a goat feeder or near the water were they will show up to drink and feed.
I'm going to do what the original park had. A lot of forest and then a goat feeder so people can watch the goat get eaten
I'm gonna have the fences go inward so that the path gets surrounded by forest and then at the end have the viewing platform.
Since the goat isn't held in place by a chain you might need to use the carnivore feeder.
Actually, you can see the view it provides when placing it down (not sure about selecting it). It appears as a semi transparent blue arc. Now whether trees obscure the vision of this arc is unknown to us...
