Don't think there is any other way, but asking just in case -
I know about debug cam and use that in space sometimes to look at my ship. When in dock though, especially a new ship I'm not familiar with - its hard to tell sometimes where the hard points are because zoomed in so close in outfitter view.
So while in dock, on pad or in outfitting, is there a way to see ship panned out a bit?
Usually in the no-item selected outfitting view, I get a bit of panned out ship view but even then it doesn't show whole ship usually. Depends on ship in some ways - the Clipper for example is really zoomed in, even in the outfitter view without any items selected.
On pad, depending where they assign landing, I sometimes find debug cam can't pull back because it hits the back of the pad or wall, and for some odd reason won't let me move the camera forward and then spin around.
So prob a no, but just in case - any dock/outfitter way to view entire panned out ship view?
