Vintage pack Victorian parts

Hello!

I tried to build a structure with the victorian parts such as the arches and the triangular inset. But I am stumped as of there's no horizontal straight piece that will fit into the patterning of the arch pieces. I wonder if it is missing and should really be added that Frontier did not have time to do that, or maybe I am missing it due to wrong place, etc?

There are two nice pillar that is structured but it is not exact same plus that it has this design that works only in vertical state.

Plus the pretty triangular inset is kind of needing horizontal part to fill in, right?

I wasn't sure as of to place this in the bugs forum or just this in discussions. haha.

I haven't bothered with this game for a while, but wasn't this always the problem with half arches? They only look truly correct when put next to each other in opposite directions, or in corners. They don't go all the way to the top of the piece, so you'll be stuck with a little ridge that can only be tidied up with weird improvisations like wooden beams (that do no match the thickness or color completely) or trims. :(

It's sad, but not a new issue unfortunately.

It is not the grid-wall-arches I am thinking of, but these tiny arch pieces. It is non-grid based pieces, and small quarter circles so to say. These have pretty patterning.

The pretty half circles do not have any other pieces that will match.

I haven't been able to find photos so in this video; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lstR4Jy1XuI
at 15:27 you can see the pieces. Triangular inset and two quarter circle arches. There are no straight beam in same style meeting the arch which is annoying because the arch end in this piece that looks like it should "continue" on onto a beam. Also same with the triangle inset, it looks like it "should" be put against straight pieces.

I could be missing something out of Frontier's vision, then I would ask to see examples. :D

Isn't this a problem with all wall sets / decoration sets?

But I can see where they got their inspiration. Baron 1898 has such elements, but it doesn't have the straight one either, so I can see why it isn't there, the source material doesn't has one either, but there are more elements in this building that could be copied as well into the game as it fits the industrial/vintage/steampunk look as well.

For replacement pieces:
It doesn't have the pattern on it, but the in game coaster supports could fit these beams better than the wooden ones.

I agree the circles need a matching beam that can go vertical or horizontal. I am all for more of this stuff in general. It's been great for my Haunted New orleans section.

Yes, I totally agree, I missed the horizontal beams in different sizes (1m, 2m and 4m wide) for those arches.
They are sooo beautiful, but I couldn't use them as I liked :-(
