Violent Protests

Arrived in Maia with another commander, on the SC into Obsidian Orbital we noticed two sources that said violent protest. Am in a Heavy freighter doing runs back to the bubble, don't want to get involved. Just wondering what it's all about, a quick search suggests it is related to powerplay, this system isn't controlled by a power.

Edit - Nevermind, it looks like Pranav Antal is trying to expand into Maia.

This is due to background simulation, the factions within the system are causing it, caused by what happens in the system. Missions/smuggling/murder and such.

Just checked the factions, they are all in a Boom state, I think it is to do with Power Play. Pranav Antal is showing 11% expansion with 112% oposition

Antal is Ben Ryder's group.
They're mad.

Lovely, inspiring, capable of wild feats of " ?- Because we Can!"

They grabbed a system way back before cycle 10 that was like some crazy way out off by itself little thing.

If anyone would take Maia it's Antal.
And I reckon they're the ones with the dedication, freedom from heavy opposition, and sheer chutzpah! to do it.
