Viper Flags gone

Logged on this morning to buy a flag for my viper only to find they have been removed... BooHoo :(

I know its only £3 but I thought I would wait until I got paid today

Limited edition stuff is great.

Those that get it can feel special and those that don't can happily forget it even existed, not worrying about ever becoming tempted to splurge on it later.

I hope more limited stuff comes up later.

I agree, I'm liking the idea of a limited time on these sort of purchasables - I also failed to grab a flag skin, but will merrily go 'oohh' when I see a player with one in a years time.

At first I tot they were going for all the flag of earth ... but well lots of guys posted against the idea of having flags anyways so... :rolleyes:

I intended to buy one too... but forgot the deadline! :eek: I do like the idea of time limited availability (or even limited edition) skins, for their exclusivity - caught myself out on this occasion but that's okay. :)

Truth is I didn't even know they were time limited but bought one on a whim last Friday. Glad!

I was very much doubting between the Dutch, Danish and Finnish flag, but decided on the Finnish one in the end. Now to actually get a viper ^^

I too missed the deadline and .. as for getting a Viper .. first I need to get a CPU/ GPU !!! NEARLY bought one anyway, but it did seem a bit daft to get a skin for a game that I can't even play !!

Consoling myself with the thought of the Limited Edition Mercenary pack from last week's newsletter (and day one decal) .. and with the fact that as a mature adult I can live without things I really want want want .. ummmm :D

Well, I was one of those people that wasn't a big fan of the country flags of earth.. but hypocritical enough to buy one.. ha!

Decisions, decisions!
I bought two flags; UK and Italy. I'll probably only use them on special occasions relevant to the two nations.
My favourite flag design was between the Australian and New Zealand examples because of the blue background and understated use of the Union Jack. However, I felt it wasn't right buying one as I don't have a meaningful link to these nations.
I'm looking forward to seeing and destroying Aussie and Kiwi Vipers sometime soon. :p

Gone forever. I got the Union Jack for an English mate of mine, but other than that, I'm glad they are gone and will be a rare sight once the game goes live.

The occasional one I don't mind, but I don't want to have the game littered with 21:th century flags.
