I love the viper and i have since i first flew one back in pre release beta.

I have a ship on PC that uses legacy modules called the infinite sun, now that ship is just amazing in every way, the heavy duty hull mods with light weight
secondery effects and many other things that i rolled and rolled untill i got them all balanced just right. Its my baby and i love it. Now,
I have some friends who have started playing on xbox! This is a rare treat indeed as most people who i have managed to get to play this game last only a few weeks at best before they give up for one reason or another. So dispite having a borderline embarrassing amount of hours in my PC account i have joined them on xbox.
Now to the point lol
I miss my infinite sun viper!
So i have fiddled about and made a good enough version using available upgrades on xbox.
Infact i made 3 different vipers cus lets face it.. one is never enough!
Heres the builds, if any one is interested in having as much fun as i do..
Thie infinite sun:

The i dont have enforcer cannons yet version..

The wepons can be enforcers or cannons as this build is lighter.. but the enforcers will use more wep so pip management is more intensive.
The new old school cannon viper:

If you just dont need to go that fast and want to take a few more hits.
The cannons builds are ways cooler than they look on paper, against npcs it kinda locks them up with the force shells so you can land cannon shots on big ships as they slide backwards and small ships get spun out and again you can smash them hard walst they find there barings. 200 burst damage and just under 100 dps and most of the time you can have 0 pips in wep on a ship this small and fast is just madness.. i love it!
Cannons get a bad rap, i get it, they half deserve it. But fixed cannons have more damage potential than multicannons dipite the ammo count difference, yea they are harder to hit with and you dont get corosive, thogh you need it less as they have higher pircing and breach chance. Pluss less ToT is needed. the force shell brings the cannon speeds to very close the same so you can land all 4 at once.
I have toyed with extened mag instead of overcharged on the cannon viper and the extra 30% damage potential is nice if you can snipe the PP on most ships you can stay in Res much longer. But i like the satisfaction of the big hits from the overcharged and it can realy help with bursting thrugh SCBs.
And for those extra crazy situations where you need to tank and spank...
The mk4 may be in order.. the boost button is you friend..

This one you can run the cannons on instead but i love the hit and run missile attacks on the PP. The 16t fuel tank realy helps spam those rails like they are lasers!
(You get 20 rail shots per ton, so with 2 rails thats 160 shots per tank.)
